Volksbad Jena

Dive into the midst of the conference

Water out, steel plate built over the pool, conference guests in. And that's it! That is the short version of the history of the Jena Volksbad. Since 2007, conferences for up to 350 participants have been held regularly in the stylish atmosphere of the former indoor swimming pool.

Only insiders recognise the contours of the former swimming pool at first glance: a diving board here, the entrance to the showers there, and the changing rooms upstairs. Many people from Jena learned how to swim in the Volksbad until 2001, before it was transformed from a swimming temple into an extraordinary event venue.
